Following yesterday's Global Reveal of eSports within Treyarch's upcoming title - Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3. Studio Design Director - David Vonderhaar has spoke with IGN at GamesCom 2015, which is currently being held in Germany, to recap on what they showcased during the eSports reveal yesterday.
Vonderhaar first talked about the New Ban and Protect Feature, Specialist Draft Feature, Arena Mode (League Play), COD Caster and more! As stated at the end of the eSports Reveal yesterday, Vonderhaar also mentioned that the team are currently working on League Seasons, Championships and other tournaments for eSports in Black Ops 3. Treyarch will have more Intel regarding this matter, closer to launch.
One part of the interview that caught our attention was when David Vonderhaar discussed the relationship that is shared between each of the Call Of Duty Title Developers. These being Treyarch, Sledge Hammer Games and Infinity Ward. Plus the COD Franchise Publisher - Activision. Vonderhaar stated that each of the studios share feedback that they get following their latest launch of a title.
An example of this is that Treyarch wouldn't of introduced the Competitve Game Mode - Uplink back into Black Ops 3, if it wasn't for seeing the communities reaction to the Mode in Advanced Warfare!
Finally Vonderhaar talked about how important the BETA Access for Black Ops 3 is going to be, in order to get every aspect of Multiplayer correct before the games launch in November!
