During the XBox GamesCom 2015 Breifing, a list of publishers that will be supporting the New Backward Compatibility Feature for XBox One (which will allow players to play XBox 360 Games on their XBox One) was revealed. But Activision were not on the list.
Despite Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 being the title with the most amount of votes to be made Backward Compatible on XBox One. It looks like Activision will not be supporting this feature with their own titles.
Microsofts - Aaron Greenberg has stated in a recent post on Twitter that "fans have to ask Activision for support" as Microsoft have no control over which publishers decide to support the Backward Compatiblity Feature coming this November to XBox One.
But the fact that Activision will not be supporting this feature, further hints that we may see previous Call Of Duty Titles Remastered! As Activisions CEO - Eric Hirshberg has previously mentioned that "it's something the team talk about a lot, but have no formal announcements at this time."
That's all the intel we have to share regarding this matter. We will be sure to update this page when more intel is releaesed! Stay tuned.
